Our History and Mission Park Community was established in 1965 to serve the employees of General Electric’s Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky, hence the name “Park” Federal Credit Union. “Park” continued to grow over the years serving GE employees in other states, and we eventually expanded our services to over 500 Select Employment Groups (SEGs). In 2003, Park became a Community Chartered Credit Union, opening its doors to anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school, or volunteers in the nine-county Louisville Metro Area. With our new focus on serving the community, we changed our name to Park Community Federal Credit Union.

Park Community Credit Union - Make a Loan Payment

The Convenience Payment service allows members to make or schedule a one-time personal or auto loan payment from another financial institution online or by calling the Credit Union at 502.968.3681. (Please note: If you are trying to pay using your mobile device, you may experience an error related to not accepting the terms and conditions. We are working to resolve this issue. If you experience difficulties, please try your payment using a different device.)

Convenience Payment lets you use the following to make your payment from another financial institution:

  • Checking account
  • Savings account

Convenience

Make payments any time – day or night – or schedule a payment up to 14 days prior to your loan payment due date.

Restrictions

Mortgage, credit card, and loans that have been charged-off cannot be paid using this service. For payments on these accounts, contact PCCU at 502.968.3681 or 502.968.3681.

Payment Type

Make a one-time payment using your checking or savings account at another financial institution. Recurring payments cannot be set up through Online Loan Payment.

eCheck (ACH) Payments

If you are using your savings or checking account at another financial institution to make your Park Community Credit Union loan payment, please have your routing number and account numbers ready.

All payments must be drawn on U.S. financial institutions and in U.S. currency. You may not submit information from a business account at another financial institution.

Processing Times

Payments made after 4:00 pm will be processed on the following business day (Monday – Friday). If a payment is made on a Sunday or banking holiday, it will not be processed until the following business day. Your one-time payment will be credited to your loan account within two business days of your scheduled payment date. You may cancel your payment by contacting us at 502.968.3681 prior to 5:00pm EST the date of authorization. We cannot guarantee that any request to process a payment will be cancelled.

  • Payment Amount

    You are responsible for inputting and authorizing your full loan payment amount, including any late fees or additional charges that you may owe. The minimum payment must be $1.00.

  • Fees

    Park Community Credit Union does not charge a fee for you to make a one-time loan payment online. Check with your issuing financial institution for any fees that it may charge: You are responsible for fees you incur at the issuing financial institution as a result of this payment being processed.

  • Security

    Your payment information will not be used for any reason other than processing this one-time payment transaction.

  • You can get your account balance by using our free Online Banking or Mobile Banking services. Our automated phone service, DIAL, will also give you account information 24/7. To protect your security, we do not give balances over the phone.

  • Account numbers are not given over the phone for security reasons. Stop by your local office and they will be able to give you the number, or you can make a request by phone for us to send it to you by mail.

  • Stop by your local office or send us a signed letter which lists your old and new addresses. A verification of the new address must be included in the letter (please call for a list of acceptable documents). You can also change your address in Online Banking under the Options tab by clicking Address Change.

  • To change your direct deposit, you will need to contact your human resources department or the entity responsible for your direct deposit and give them our routing number and your checking account number. Park Community’s routing number is 283079476. Your checking account number (13 digits) can be found within online banking or at the bottom of your checks. Savings account numbers may be found within online banking. You may also visit your local branch if you have any questions.

  • To change your automatic transfer, you will need to contact the company, bank, credit card, or other financial institution and give them our routing number and your account number. Park Community’s routing number is 283079476. Your checking account number (13 digits) can be found within online banking or at the bottom of your checks. You may also make transfers out of your savings account. Savings account numbers may be found within online banking. You may also visit your local branch if you have any questions. If you are with another banking institution and wish to move your money to Park Community, try our handy Switch Kit.

Credit, Debit, and ATM Cards

  • If you have forgotten or would like to change your PIN #, you can visit your local branch, call the eBranch at 502.968.3681 and you will receive one within 5-7 business days, or log in to online banking or the mobile app and request one using the message feature.

  • For a lost or stolen Debit Card, stop by your local branch or call 502.968.3681. After business hours, choose the option for lost/stolen card from the prompt and hold on the line until you speak to a representative.

  • For debit cards: report unauthorized credit or debit card transactions by calling 502.968.3681 for our business hours.

Internet Services

  • The funds will be debited from your Park account on the business day you select for the payment to be made. For questions regarding the receipt of payment by the payee, please contact our Bill Pay department at 866.815.1835.

  • Online banking and online bill payment are free to members.

Miscellaneous

  • You can now place a stop payment through our digital banking systems! Just click more services in the navigation menu then click the “stop payment” option. You can also stop payment by calling 502.968.3681 and pressing zero, or by visiting a branch.

  • If the certificate was opened or automatically renewed before January 1, 2016, the penalty for cashing in a 12 month or less certificate is 90 days of dividends or dividends earned from the initial date of opening to the date of withdrawal, whichever is less. The penalty for early withdrawal of a greater than 12 month certificate is 180 days of dividends or the dividends earned from the initial date of opening to the date of withdrawal, whichever is less.

    If the certificate was opened or automatically renewed on or after January 1, 2016, any certificate withdrawn early will incur a $25 penalty fee PLUS half of the dividends that would have been earned from the date of withdrawal to the maturity date.

  • If you have forgotten or would like to change your DIAL access code: visit your local branch, call the eBranch at 502.968.3681 to have a temporary PIN e-mailed to the address we have on file, or log in to online banking and request one using the message feature.

Fraud is very serious, and it’s important for you to know what you can do to protect yourself. Whether it’s a single fraudulent charge on your account or your entire identity stolen, there are things you can do to prevent and minimize your risk of fraud.

Thwart Fraud in its Tracks

Identity thieves can:

  • Run up charges on your account
  • Open new accounts in your name
  • Take out loans in your name
  • Use your name if they are arrested

Protect yourself and your finances from identity theft. Stop it before it happens.

  • It is estimated that 7% of all U.S. households had at park community federal credit union customer service one member of the family, 12 and over, who has been a victim of some sort of identity theft.

    Please note: Park Community will never contact you to ask for your debit card or checking account number. If anyone contacts you requesting this or other personal information by phone, text, or email, please contact us immediately.

     

    View fraud alerts

What to do if your identity has been stolen.

  1. Call Park Community Credit Union at 502.968.3681 for immediate assistance.
  2. Contact the fraud departments of any one of the three major credit bureaus to place a fraud alert on your credit file. The fraud alert requests creditors to contact you before opening any new accounts or making any changes to your existing accounts. As soon as the credit bureau confirms your fraud alert, the other two credit bureaus will be automatically notified to place fraud alerts, and all three credit reports will be sent to you at no cost.
  3. Credit Bureaus: Experian, Equifax and Trans Union.
  4. Close the accounts that you know or believe have been tampered with or opened fraudulently.
  5. Use the FTC’s ID Theft Affidavit when disputing new unauthorized accounts. (Adobe Acrobat)
  6. File a police report. Get a copy of the report to submit to your creditors and others that may require proof of the crime.
  7. File your complaint with the FTC. The FTC maintains a database of identity theft cases used by law enforcement agencies for investigations. Filing a complaint also helps us learn more about identity theft and the problems victims are having so that we can better assist you.
  8. If you believe you have been a victim of Mail Fraud, submit a mail fraud complaint form with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

Electronic Signatures In Global And National Commerce Act (“E-Sign Act”) Disclosure And Consent

This E-Sign Disclosure applies to and documents your consent to receive disclosures, agreements and notices related or in connection to the processing of your Park Community Credit Union, Inc. (“PCCU”) loan payment with your checking, savings account or your debit card with another financial institution.

Definitions. As used herein, the word “Account” means your share, checking and/or loan account. The words “we,” “us” and “our” mean PCCU. The words “you” and “your” mean you, the individual(s) identified on the Account and any joint owners and authorized users of your Accounts. The term “Communication(s)” is defined below.

Consent to Receive Communications in Electronic Form

By clicking “Submit,” you affirmatively consent to the terms of this E-Sign Disclosure, and hereby authorize PCCU to provide all Communications, to the extent allowed by law, to you electronically and to do business with you electronically in order to process your online loan payment transaction. Communications will no longer be provided or mailed to you in paper form. You understand, agree and acknowledge that accepting this E-Sign Disclosure and its terms constitutes your signature in the same manner as if it was physically signed by you. Your consent will also apply to any other person or entity named on your Account, including all joint owners and authorized users. Your consent under this E-Sign Disclosure will apply initially and on an ongoing basis until your consent is withdrawn as specified herein.

Scope of Consent

Your consent to the terms and conditions of this E-Sign Disclosure, includes but is not limited to, your agreement to receive in electronic form this E-Sign Disclosure, and to the extent allowed by law, any disclosures, agreements, notices, fee schedules and other information related to your request and authorization to make a one-time loan payment, including those required by the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, Regulation E and the NACHA Operating Rules & Guidelines and other applicable federal and state laws and regulations and any changes, additions, updates, amendments or deletions of terms and conditions applicable to your online loan payment (collectively referred to as “Communication(s)”).

Method of Providing Communications in Electronic Form

All Communications we provide to you in electronic form will be provided by the following methods: (1) via e-mail; or (2) by other electronic means.

Updating Your Contact Information and Records

PCCU will use the e-mail address you have provided to us to send you electronic Communications. It is your responsibility to provide us with true, accurate and complete contact and other information and to promptly notify us if your e-mail address changes or is no longer functioning. You understand and agree that any Communications sent to the e-mail address you have in our files is deemed to have been provided to you in the methods described in this E-Sign Disclosure.

Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent to receive Communications in electronic form by contacting us at 502.968.3681 or writing us at P.O. Box 18630, Louisville, KY 40261-0630. If you withdraw your consent, PCCU may stop providing you with Communications electronically. Any withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic Communications will be effective only after we have a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal. PCCU will not impose any fee to process the withdrawal of your consent. PCCU may treat your provision of an invalid e-mail address or the subsequent malfunction of a previously provided valid e-mail address as a withdrawal of your consent to receive Communications in electronic form. No fee will be imposed for the withdrawal of your consent in park community federal credit union customer service manner.

Limitation of Liability

Hardware and Software Requirements

It is your responsibility to maintain the proper equipment and software that will enable you to view, download, print and save all electronic Communications from PCCU for your records. To access and retain electronic Communications, you will need a PC or laptop computer, a printer, access to the Internet and current browser software (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox). You will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free here. Federal Law

You acknowledge and agree that your consent to receive electronic Communications is being provided in connection with a transaction affecting interstate commerce that is subject to the federal E-Sign Act, and that you and PCCU both intend that the E-Sign Act apply to the fullest extent possible to validate PCCU’s ability to conduct business with you by electronic means.

Online Loan Payment Terms And Conditions

You agree that you are authorized to initiate transfers from the designated account and not acting as a third party service provider. You understand that is it your responsibility to maintain a balance in the designated account to enable the transfer to be made on the specified date.  If the payment date requested is a weekend or bank holiday, the payment will be processed on the next business day.  In that case, your financial institution may put a hold on those funds, and treat it as a pending transaction.  Icici prudential life insurance login india payment amount will be debited in a single transaction.  No recurring or partial withdrawals will be made.  You authorize Park Community Credit Union to make credits and correct errors as needed.  You further agree that the payments authorized by you comply with all state and federal laws and regulations.  Contact your financial institution immediately in there is an error in the amount withdrawn.

You may cancel your payment by contacting us at 502.968.3681 prior to 5:00pm EST the date of authorization.  You must provide us with a reasonable amount of time to cancel the payment or it will be processed according to your original instructions.  This one-time authorization will remain in effect until you cancel it.  We cannot guarantee that any request to process a payment will be canceled.

If any payment is rejected due to insufficient funds, because your account has been closed, because you provided incorrect account information or for any other reason, Park Community Credit Union may charge you a fee and your financial institution may also charge you a fee. In the event your financial institution is unable to process your payment request or fails to do so, park community federal credit union customer service will be responsible for making other payment arrangements and for any penalties, fees or additional interest accrued on your loan.  Please allow 2-3 business days from your processing date for your payment to be posted to your Park Community Credit Union loan account.  If your loan payment has posted and the payment is rejected, the loan payment will park community federal credit union customer service reversed.  Submitting a payment has no bearing on your due date.  Plan ahead to ensure timely payment.

Our History and Mission Park Community was established in 1965 to serve sun surf realty emerald isle nc employees of General Electric’s Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky, hence the name “Park” Federal Credit Union. “Park” continued to grow over the years serving GE employees in other states, and we eventually expanded our services to over 500 Select Employment Groups (SEGs). In 2003, Park became a Community Chartered Credit Union, opening its doors to anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school, or volunteers in the nine-county Louisville Metro Area. With our new focus on serving the community, we changed our name to Park Community Federal Credit Union.
